Outpoured is rooted in Jesus.
Everything we create at Outpoured is rooted in Jesus, His teachings, and the way He lived. Jesus didn't only teach people inside buildings. He ate with people. Touched people others avoided. Welcomed children. Served. Gave. Forgave. Prayed. Healed the sick. Spoke truth. Sent His followers out.
So when we talk about Go & Do, we're not talking about random self-improvement challenges. We're practicing a way of living ultimately rooted in the way of Jesus — praying for somebody, serving a stranger, giving when it costs you something, inviting someone to your table, sharing your faith, practicing forgiveness, meeting practical needs, and actually going when God says go.
Why is it called Outpoured?
One of the passages that put language around what He was showing me was Jeremiah 48:11 — an image of being left undisturbed and therefore remaining unchanged. That is what made the passage hit so personally.
What stays untouched stays unchanged.
Maybe transformation isn't always God pouring more into me. Maybe sometimes He tips the vessel. Maybe the pouring itself exposes what's been sitting at the bottom. Maybe some things change because we finally move.
Transformed in the pouring out. A life Outpoured.
Belonging
But do I have to be a Christian?
No. Outpoured is rooted in Jesus without requiring you to pretend you're somewhere spiritually that you're not.
Maybe you've followed Jesus your whole life. Maybe you just met Him. Maybe you're curious but wouldn't call yourself a Christian. Maybe you don't believe any of this right now. You can still pull up a chair.
Come curious. Come with questions. Come skeptical. Come believing. Come unsure. Come experience it for yourself.
